can you ctrl-num move it to a different space?
Jeremy,You've confused me. I have 3 spaces. I can switch from one space to another directly, using ctrl-num. To be specific: I have Terminal.app open in Space 1. In Terminal I enter
xeyes
This launches XQuartz, and the eyes appear in the upper-left corner of my Space 1 desktop. If I then press control-2, I'm switched to Space 2, but the windows that were open in Space 1 stay in Space 1. I can return to them by pressing control-1.
Is there a variation on control-# sequence that will move a specific window to a specified space?
Thanks, Louis
PS---I can move a non-X11 window into an adjacent space by dragging that window off the appropriate edge of my desktop. But that doesn't work with X11-windows. But it does on my MacPro ...
