XQuartz.app is open source?

I will like to give X11 another chance... but I want to install fresh
packages. Does MacPorts work for installing X11? I will like to start
using subversion/SVN too... the idea is to do anything but "reinstall the
OS".

I don't know who krh is or what is Wayland. do you have any URLs to the
official project website?

My open source project is called En SUI (En Simple User Interface; related
to Enso :: from Zen Buddhism). It has a logo and many drawings (I'm on the
"designing stage").

Thanks, but I'm currently on 2 mailing lists... and I prefer webforums.

What will be ideal (to me) is: Photoshop CS5 + Inkscape (Aqua native)...
the second best is Photoshop CS5 (or Elements) + Inkscape (using X11). I
also use Corel Painter Essentials 4, but am waiting on v5 or v6 to be
"fully Snow Leopard" compatible... if Corel just doesn't want to compete
with Adobe, then... I will make a competitor for both Photoshop and
Painter (this is long term... of course =)
