X11 quit working after system freeze/crash
I need help.... *please*
Earlier tonight, I had a system lock-up (after 10+ minutes, system still
stuck with spinning color wheel or whatever it is), and then I finally
had to use the power button to kill it. Upon rebooting (and then a full
shutdown/reboot), X11 still does not start. The icon in the dock starts
off bouncing up and down, like it's trying to start, but never does.
I don't know (at least, not on a Mac) what else to look for as far as
diagnostics go, so this is about all I have for this initial post, except
for system details:
1) Mac Mini // 2.7 GHz Intel Core i7 // 8 GB 1333 MHz DDR3 (I *THINK*
thats 3 threes [cancer #1, 2.5 cm tumor in occipital lobe --> fscked
ability to see how many [same] digits are in a row if >= 3).
2) Mac OS X Lion
Can anyone please help me get X11 back up on my Mac Mini? I use X FAR
too often to lose it (often, as in, constantly).
Thanks,
