So... is there a simple config. recipe to make cut-and-paste work
in the standard MacOS way (cmd-C to cut, cmd-V to paste)? It
looks like cmd-c copies just fine in an xterm, and can be pasted
into a Mac window; but the only way I can find to paste into an
xterm is with the middle mouse button on a 3-button mouse (no
cmd-V, not even a "paste" line under the x11 edit menu (there is a
copy, though).
That's not something Apple or XQuartz can fix; X11 programs,
especially the older Xt-based ones, are annoying that way. You might

Thanks! Very informative, if somewhat frustrating.
