-10810 is the error code for "unknown error" from Launch Services. Unfortunately, there's not much to go on in your report.
Did the installation complete successfully?
What happens when you try running the application directly instead of launching via LaunchServices? eg:
$ /Applications/Utilities/XQuartz.app/Contents/MacOS/X11
