Just wondering: just about every X1 window manager out there has support for defining menus (window and "global", called up with specific mouse buttons) as well as the possibility to associate shortcuts with specific actions.
It seems quartz-wm has nothing of that; if so, is there a reason why?
Absent a reply from someone with better knowledge, it is essentially because
Quartz-WM is basicly "let the standard Mac desktop manage the windows". Aside
from some basic options to control behaviour/interpretation of X11 idioms in an
OSX desktop environment, that's all it does.
Supplying menus etc would require an open ended amount of code including syntax
and of course, options (what to let the user do).
I think, if you're using quartz-wm (as I do), then you should really do this
kind of thing the OSX way (whatever that is:-).
