Hi Jeremy,
Thank you for that! I finally verified that it worked today.
For the record, we were using Macports xorg-server and thus had to use the following command:
defaults write org.macports.X11 enable_iglx -bool true
Cheers!
Frank

IGLX was disabled by default in xorg-server in xorg-server-1.17. XQuartz 2.7.9 and later thus do not have IGLX enabled by default. With XQuartz-2.7.10 and later, you can enable support for it with a preference:
• defaults write org.macosforge.xquartz.X11 enable_iglx -bool true

Hello,
I am running xorg-server 1.18.4 from Macports and ssh into a Linux server as follows:
ssh -Y <myserver>
That works fine along with the X11 forwarding. However one particular program (ANSYS) will initially run and then lock up when a project is loaded. The error we see is:
$ ansysedt
libGL error: No matching fbConfigs or visuals found
libGL error: failed to load driver: swrast
The client hardware is a 27 inch iMac (2015 with Retina display)
Any ideas on how I can fix it?
Thank you!
Frank
