Hi,
my Xquartz (2.7.11) install does not start automatically when I launch app that require X11 for my current user setup (ssh -X, ssh -Y, if i start xterm or imagemagick). My command just hang and Xquartz never opens. If I open Xquartz manually it closes after a few second.
I have confirmed that for a clean new user it works. I have also checked that my $DISPLAY variable is set to a socket pseudo-file in tmp.
I am trying to figure out what in my current setup is causing xquartz to misbehave.
I run:
OSX Sierra 10.12.3
iTerm2 build 3.0.15
fish shell
homebrew
My install is an upgrade from previous version of MacOS.
I haven't found any .Xauthority or .xinitrc lurking in my home directory.
Does someone now how to debug this?
