Hi
I have a project that embeds a number of custom frameworks and after
I got everything running nicely, I went to collapse a couple of
header group triangles in the included frameworks and boom, Xcode
crashed. When I relaunch it and double-click on the app project, an
error dialog with the following message keeps popping up:
Internal error
-----------------------------------------------------------------
File: /SourceCache/DevToolsBase/DevToolsBase-747/pbxcore/
PBXContainerItemProxy.m
Line: 285
Object: <PBXContainerItemProxy:0x1851dcf0>
Method: _containerPortal
Assertion failed: _containerPortal == [self container] ||
([_containerPortal isKindOfClass:[PBXFileReference class]] &&
[(PBXFileReference *)_containerPortal container] == [self container])
I searched my system using Spotlight and "locate" and "find" from
the terminal but couldn't find the specified file. I deleted a bunch
of caches in /library/Caches and /user/me/library/caches.
I Googled for /SourceCache/DevToolsBase and got a few pages where
others ran into this problem but no answers. The Xcode errors seem
to be confined to this one project but since it took a lot of work
to set it up in the first place, I'm hoping there is a way to fix it
without having to recreate the whole thing from scratch.
Anyone know how to fix this error?
TIA
Ken
