Does this mean Windows has an invalid implementation of wchar_t (last
time I looked it was 2 byte)? If so, I will happily re-direct my
rants and grief at the Windows faction for being out-of-standard.
Since Microsoft's C compiler is not C99 (and they have stated that
they will not be making a C99 compiler; I know, I've seen the filed
bugs), they've really sidestepped the issue (as C90 and C++ have no
such restriction).
