Code folding doesn't work correctly

  • Subject: Code folding doesn't work correctly

Hi,

I am using Xcode 6.1.1 dated Dec 2, 2014 running on Mac OSX 10.9.5. I am compiling a C+ project.

When I do a Fold Methods & Functions from the menu on one of my source files not all the functions get folded. The folding works up until a specific function in my file and then nothing is folded after that.
If I try to fold the first function that doesn’t fold by using the fold arrows in the left gutter at the start of the function, it only folds part of the function. If I go the last bracket in this function, there is no arrow in the left gutter so i cannot fold the function from the end of the function. I don’t see anything unusual in the code that won’t fold.
I have done a Google search and didn’t turn up anything on problems with code folding in Xcode?

Is this a known problem with Xcode? Are others seeing this kind of behavior? Are there any known fixes or work arounds?

Thanks,
Mike
