Hi,
I’ve found that you *can* open a counterpart in a separate window and the secret is to hold down Option while selecting the file from the Pop Up menu which is triggered by the button at the top left of an editor window. This seems to work *and* it seems to open the window on the same monitor that the original file is on which is more good news.
I really couldn’t believe that this command which is SO useful had been removed and I’m very grateful that I’ve now found out how to do it, it will save me a lot of time.
Thanks a lot
Dave
