I've submitted a bug report about these leaks about 2 months ago that got closed as "Can't Reproduce". Our app still suffers a lot from these leaks and there's nothing holding on to the leaked blocks except for NSURLConnection.

Bug ID: 6179277

The fact that it only happens on the phone itself and not on the SDK speaks volumes.

thanks!

That's interesting. It could be a leak... what API are you using?

Not quite sure what you're asking -- I'm using SDK 2.1 on an iPod touch, with the sendSynchronousRequest API as previously noted..

I have not seen this happen in the simulator so far.

It's interesting that it only happens with sendSynchronousRequest:returningResponse:error...

I'll mock up a quick test to see if I can't reproduce.

Great -- let me know if I can provide any more assistance.
