OK - stupid me - KVC allows methods with the 'getProperty' style. IOBluetoothDevice method names

Hi, The Objective-C Class IOBluetoothDevice has some unusual method names - e.g. getAddress and getName. Don't these names break the accessor "pattern" - where accessors are usually of the form 'property' and setters are of the form 'setProperty'? If so does that mean that they can't do Key-Value-Coding? MS Wireless Optical Desktop for Bluetooth

I just picked up the MS Wireless Optical Desktop for Bluetooth. This consists of a bluetooth keyboard, mouse and USB transceiver. I'm using it with a dual-USB iBook 700. Basic keyboard and mouse functionality work well in OS X. However, OS X is unable to turn off the bluetooth adapter via the bluetooth menu. Also, if I unplug the bluetooth adapter and re-plug it, the keyboard and mouse will fail to work. Doing a 'killall -HUP blued' will get things going again. However, the computer will freeze up when I try to put it to sleep after this process. It does not matter whether the adapter was previously unplugged and in the USB socket, or whether it is absent at the time of putting the iBook to sleep - the computer will freeze up. Does anyone on this list have any idea how to resolve this matter? I suspect that once OS X is able to power-off the adapter via the bluetooth menu, this issue will be resolved or at least have a workaround. Are there any plans to officially support this combination? If I can get the hardware running reliably, I was seriously considering putting out free software to give Mac users access to the extra keys on the keyboard and extra mouse buttons. Currently, the IntelliType and IntelliPoint software from Microsoft do not work with this hardware. They should be the same. If you view the plist file in Property List Editor application, you can see the hex values of the data elements. Using Bluetooth FTP with Nokia 3650

I am writing this in hope this info will be useful to somebody. 1. Nokia 3650 has an BT FTP sever 2. One can send files to the phone via Bluetooth FTP. They will appear in the Messaging Inbox. 3. These are the only file names that can be retrieved from the phone using BT FTP. 4. Nokia does NOT allow creating new folders on the phone using BT FTP. 5. Actually, here is the contents of my file from //tmp: [TiBook:/tmp] victor% cat folderlist-Nokia3650-2078917053 <?xml version="1.0"?> <!DOCTYPE folder-listing SYSTEM"obex-folder-listing.dtd"> <folder-listing version="1.0"></folder-listing> I get this after using BFE. Which is exactly the same data that I get in my code. So the root folder must be empty. I guess I have to start bugging Nokia people now and see what they have to say. Thanks for all the help Jason.
