You can set those preferences when you connect to the peripheral. You can select whether you want notifications for a connect event, a disconnect event or a notification / indication or any of the combinations of those. I'd be grateful if we could clarify the situation fast as this issue may directly influence any apps that intend to transfer data in the background.
