Time Profile

Hi, I want to develop the Time Profile on the iPhone, more precisely the Time Server role. The Time Server requires to be GATT Server and GAP Central. If i understand good, CBCentralManager & CBPeripheral are for GAP Central & GATT Client. And CBPeripheralManager & CBCentral are for GAP Peripheral & GATT Server. Darren, Going to settings -> general -> reset -> reset all settings should reset your bluetooth uuid cache. If you do not want to reset all settings, you can also use a different bluetooth adress on your peripheral in order to test peripherals that have not yetbeen connected to the system. Device UUID's

I've read a while ago about not being able to read a peripherals UUID until you've connected to it at least once. Am I right about this, or am I remembering wrong? I can successfully read my peripherals UUID's while scanning for devices and choose which to connect to or not. I'm just wondering if i'm going to have problems when a new peripheral is thrown in that the phone has never connected to? To test this, is there a way to reset the phones knowledge of any UUID? Connection to any bluetooth peripheral on iOS

Hi, I'm writing an iOS class that needs to discover every bluetooth peripheral reachable by the device (i.e. within radius). I know that for BT LE peripherals I should use CoreBluetooth framework and for MFi compliant accessories I should use External Accessory framework. But what about other Bluetooth devices?
