OmniORB on Mac OS X w/generic GCC

The build system uses some Apple-isms when it detects Darwin and fails with the generic GCC; just want to check whether someone else already got this to work before I start dissecting the omniORB make system... Hm, my reading of the Solaris, Linux and Mac OS X man pages is that the time returned should indeed be UTC ... the former two explicitly mention UTC, the Mac OS X page speaks of "current Greenwich time", which I would interpret as "old" UTC. ...? Will it change with future releases of OS X? That's even more vague. The answer is: there is no answer to your question.
