PKGM="/Developer/Applications/Utilities/PackageMaker.app/Contents/ MacOS/PackageMaker" "${PKGM}" -build -proj ${SRCROOT}/Packaging/package-Client.pmdoc -p ~/ Desktop/Client.pkg But it fails to produce the expected results... when I run the GUI version of packagemaker all works well... We have a new installer that we made with the Leopard version of PackageMaker. It works fine with the UI, but I can not get it to build with the command line. I looked at the docs and it does not look like they have updated them for the leopard version of PackageMaker. Is there a list of file formats supported by Installer.app for flat packages in Leopard? I tried to find some lines of documentation on this in the DevTools doc with no success (BTW, there's an incoherence in the documentation as some documents still refers to the version of PackageMaker for Tiger). PackageMaker & Leopard: Little bug that can be problematic to first time users

This problem does not appear the next time you open PackageMaker. A bug report will be filed as soon as Bug Reporter stops being unusable. _______________________________________________ Do not post admin requests to the list. They will be ignored. Installer-dev mailing list (Installer-dev(a)lists.apple.com) Help/Unsubscribe/Update your Subscription: http://lists.apple.com/mailman/options/installer-dev/site_archiver%40lists.… - the default position of the window is incorrect: it should appear at the top left corner (as it looks like to be a document window) but instead appears at the bottom of the screen on a 30" display. - the first alert dialog can make users believe the program is not compatible with 10.5 or 10.3 formats. The first time the alert dialog appears, you are required/requested to enter the reverse domain name for your organization/company and then you can select the compatibility format for your package. After you've entered a correct reverse domain name such as com.mentcava, if you change the compatibility format to 10.5 or 10.3, the OK button gets disabled.
