Also... how do I enter these scripts? I can't find a place for them in PackageMaker. Are they 10.4 distribution only? First, pick one or more targets that produce something that you need copied over. In each of those targets, add a new "Copy Files Build Phase" (ctrl- click, add, new build phase, new copy files build phase). Are you talking about Xcode? I use Xcode a lot, but this isn't Xcode. I'm combining REALbasic and PackageMaker :) Or trying to. I can, but it involves repetitive manual labor of the sort that should have been made illegal by Apple simply to preserve clean distribution of Mac software :) This email sent to site_archiver(a)lists.apple.com

Not one "root" folder, but 3 folders, each within the root. This is because I want to develop from and create installers from the same directory. This helps speed up my development process, and reduce mistakes. If I need to manually copy files around everytime I make a release, this introduces human error and also takes more time and energy. This means I'll be more reluctant to release so regularly. Out of all of those, I just want "happy.app", "DataBanks", and "Tools" in my package. I tried making a "Release" folder, and putting 3 aliases into there, but that didn't work. Funnily enough PackageMaker put the aliases themselves and not the things pointed to by the alias into the package! With a 3rd party app I know, you could just do what you want to do as long as you do not need Distribution List support.
