I'm doing this in Core Image using a custom CIFilter kernel. So far, I'm stumped on how Final Cut is converting the raw image data into FxTextures. The values in the Texture don't match Y Pb Pr floating point. I've found that the value of white lies somewhere between Cb and Cr equaling 0.42 to 0.44 depending on the value of Y. How are 8 bit Y Cb Cr values getting mapped into FxTextures? Is it converted from Y Pb Pr values of +112 to -112 for Cb and Cr to some floating point value? Please write up a bug. When one specifies no tracks, we need to find all of them, but in the case where you've specified just the video or just certain tracks of audio, we should be respecting that, and it seems we no longer do. Got a question. I want to get rid of the audio tracks (captured and linked with video) in a bin. This is easy with XML - I thought. But when I re-import the XML audio appears like magical and I got back all my audio tracks. It does work - means the audio tracks are deleted - when I use a sequence. Downloaded it, got it going, I've done just enough with RoR to even extend it a bit. But ... Is anyone else getting "slo start" movies out of Compressor? (i.e. they need to fully download before they'll play). • The compressor presets in the project spec fast start • Compressor is certainly capable of producing fast start movies via the GUI. Modifying the preset, it appears that regardless of what you have in your preset, the movies produced by this wee toolette will be slo- start and also exhibit ghastly de-interlacing.
