The "ps" command is mandated by POSIX, so there's not a huge amount of room for reinterpretation, unless the standards themselves change. getrusage only partially working?

I expected the memory related fields to show values other than 0 which more or less correlate with the actual memory usage of the application. I've been able to build a kernel that will boot on a TI PowerBook G4 but have not been able to figure out how to configure xnu to build a kernel that will boot on a PowerMac G5 QUAD. I've tried putting "multi" in the RELEASE second of bsd/config/MASTER.ppc. I've also seen -DNCPU in the bsd/config/Makefile.template which I've tried changing but doing that causes a routine to not compile. I've also tried putting "multi16" instead of "multi" in RELEASE in MASTER.ppc. All of my attempts to boot the kernel on the multi-processor machine have failed.
