Cocoa equivalent to AXUIElementGetHIObject?

  • Subject: Cocoa equivalent to AXUIElementGetHIObject?

Dear Accessibility List members,

my app installs an accessibility observer to get notified when a new window is created. When the window is a Carbon window, I would normally use AXUIElementGetHIObject to get WindowRef of that window.

What to do if the window is a Cocoa window? How do I get its NSWindow pointer as NSWindow is not an HIObject or am I wrong?

Thanks,

  Tomas
