memo is essentially the same as creating a new document, and so we
show the memo window. However, it could be that it would be

When Palm desktop is hidden in the background under OS X, I get a
zoom rect effect over the frontmost app when the memo is created -
clearly this is not acceptable behavior.
This a bug in Mac OS X. Zoom rects should be obscured by
overlapping windows, as they are on 9 (IIRC). Having said that, I
might workaround the problem by suppressing zoom rects altogether
when the app is not in the foreground, in some future version of
the software. No promises though.
