crashes and reports

In OS X the Script Editor has been quite unstable, I've lost a lot of work because I forget to save the script after the first compilation.
Recently, I've read in the discussions, in Apple's web site, that you could set console to save crashes report in a log file. It works great and it is better yet to get an accurate description ( or a better description) of the problem.
To set console to save these files, open console and use the preferences (under crashes) to set it.
Eventually, we will be able to have a nice database of crash-reports from AS ( and other apps).
So if I may, I would suggest everybody who experiences crashes in any apps, to set the preferences and keep a log of all the crashes.

My most recent AS crash returned:

Exception: EXC_BAD_ACCESS (0x0001)
Codes: KERN_INVALID_ADDRESS (0x0001) at 0x04e93e0c

changing numbers in a compiled script ( the handler I've just posted)

Regards
