Applescriptable FTP Tools

My ISP had changed my login procedure from userName to email@hidden recently and that caused URL access to spit the dummy. I had a lot of scripts that used URL Access Scripting and they'd all been rendered useless. In my search for alternatives I discovered a host of scriptable FTP tools at http://www.macorchard.com/ftp.html.

One stood out because its modus operandi matched my uses and needs so well.

We keep our web site in FMPro and we export the data to our local folder, then call an applescript to upload via FTP using URL Access Scripting. Now that's broken and we need another tool to do the job. We've just started experimenting with a piece of software called Mirror.

Mirror and will upload and download. It doesn't actually mirror because it doesn't do any deleting at either end. You create a Mirror document with a local and remote path, Mirror will upload or download new or modified files from one to the other. Make as many documents as you need to replicate your web site. Call the appropriate document from FMPro with an AppleEvent (no need to write an appleScript) and that's that. The document handles everything else.
