My Disk name has a space in it. Is this a possible cause?
it is, but also possible that you have Mac OS 9 installed on
the same volume as Mac OS X -- in which case the path would
be just "/System\ Folder".
(the Mac OS X boot volume is mounted at /, not in /Volumes.)
