batch import to FMP

  • Subject: batch import to FMP

I am trying to batch import several files into FMP. Does any one know how =
to pass a variable containing the file name to an Import command in FMP? I =
tried using an Import command from AppleScript but kept getting an error =
that the "Path to the file" cannot complete import, or something very =
close to that. I tried using a Do Script and use a script in FMP but I =
could not figure out how to pass the variable to that script. I could =
either hard code a file to open or have a dialog box appear so the user =
could select a file. I would like to be able to do the import without any =
user input.

Eric
