Thanks as always for the responses from this list. Another question. My
favorite tool for working with files is FileBuddy. As I delve into using
AS for what I would normally do by hand (so to speak) I have a question
about a good app that can be scripted for manipulating files. Or maybe
this is a TOTALLY rookie question and maybe AS already does all that
FileBuddy does so this question is entirely redundant?
But, at least at the beginning, I am learning to use a program's
dictionary and, in this case, to tell it to do what I would normally do
with out AS. FIlebuddy doesn't have a large AS dictionary to it. Does
anyone know of a good file utility that is also (very) scriptable?
Not a direct answer to your question, but...
In case you aren't aware, File Buddy has the ability to create its
own droplets. Open File Buddy's help (from the help menu) and search
for "droplet". The droplets, and the help menu, are quite handy! ;-)
