This one-liner:

open location "file://localhost/Users/mgrant/Library/Mail/Mailboxes/zzWaiting.mbox/"

will open the mailbox zzWaiting in a new viewer window, in the unlikely event that your username is mgrant and you actually have a mailbox named zzWaiting at the top level of your mailboxes, and provided that no other application has been set as the default for opening .mbox bundles.


2. alias mailbox dont work in Mail

Yup, that's annoying all right. I'm hoping Tiger Mail brings some major improvements; otherwise I'll probably end up in PowerMail or Mailsmith.
