They have repeatedly promised NOT to do this, proving it with a vengeance in
the carbon version, where frag and drop text must just about have been
hand-coded out of the system :-)

If it is great (it is) different thinking people will come to it (we are).

If AppleScript would run as an embedded server-side language on any platform
running Apache, then thousands more developers would use it.
