AppleScript Studio

From the keynote this morning I gathered that there is a new product, AppleScript Studio, out by the end of year. Aside from speculation can anyone comment on what we can expect? Is this the realization of the OSX AppleScript Pro rumors from some time ago, that AppleScript would be repositioned as a more professional, developer-friendly technology after the initial migration to OSX?

I'm very excited by this - but should I be, or did Apple buy Scripter or some other existing product and repackage it as AppleScript Studio? And did they REALLY give us a product with such a glorious acronym, ASS?

:)
