You need to get your keyboard fixed or (probably cheaper) replaced. If it's
under warranty still, you could get Apple to fix it maybe. My blue and
white G3 keyboard died about 8 months ago, after two years use. I think my
Intellimouse fried it when it went berserk and died. (I got a free iMouse to
replace it from MS.) I didn't like that blue shallow plastic keyboard much
anyway, so I got a new Apple black keyboard. It's much better, has all the
keys, feels nicer, and was very inexpensive, IMO. That's what I would do if
I were you.
