Nigel responded to Alex,

Ya, since it is dated 5.5.99, it only took me over 2 years to download
it.
And I only found about it from this list. Using google and other search
engines, I would have NEVER found it.

Yet, if you go to Apple's AppleScript web page, there it is, nicely
linked to. And look, a link to the guide books as well, and tutorials,
web sites such as the SourceBook and Bill Briggs AppleScript primers,
more example scripts, and..., and..., and...

eh, not MacScripter's Magazine, the visual introduction to AppleScript, which actually lets you learn by trying in within its multimedia environment. www.macscripter.net/magazine.html.

We may rework the tutorial series for ASS, if people would like that (and if I'm capable of emulating ASS's behaviour in AppleScript).

Bert
Who has spent the last couple of months doing a tutorial series on the Terminal. Check out the MacAddict CD-ROM as of October (You may have to drag it from the CD-ROM to run it.). It will be featured by www.macinstruct.com, once they get going again. It is my first tutorial emulating Mac OS X. Hope you enjoy it!
