Thank you Jon, I didn't know that -- in fact that bug never occurred with 8.6. But you're right: the script runs without a hitch when launched from the menu instead of a command key. I'll try to get OneClick as you advised.

Any idea for my other problem ? The one that set properties of container windows yields an error -1753 with a post 'Finder got an error: invalid size for object"...
