Printing in QXP [plates missing]

  • Subject: Printing in QXP [plates missing]

On 9/26/01 8:54 AM, David Walsh at email@hidden didst forever and
always commit to the digital human communication archive:

> print page 1 of document 1 PostScript file (thepath1 & docname1 & "-" &
> docname2 & ".ps") plates {"Black", "Cyan", "Magenta", "Yellow"}

I have a problem in QXP, (maybe a bug?)

In my script, the following for separations

print ...blah blah... plates {"Black", "Cyan", "Magenta", "Yellow"}

works about 98% of the time -- then for no apparent reason I can discern, it
will only print JUST the Black and Cyan -- then happily proceed with the
rest of the script. OR it will only print Black, Cyan, Magenta -- it will
not complete the rest of the separations of the list.

A restart of the computer does not help. The only fix I've found is to cut
the line from the script and hand-type it again. After a recompile, it works
again, until it breaks again. Ideas? Anyone else seen this?

Who Do VooDoo? I Do. In QXP.
