A most bizarre thing is happening here...

When I run the script below I get a displayed value of 9.824mm NOT
10mm. If however I manually create a new QXP doc first, the displayed
value is 10mm.

...er, don't know what's going on here or why, any ideas?

tell application "QuarkXPress 4.11"
activate
tell default document 1
set horizontal measure to millimeters
set vertical measure to millimeters
set page height to "100 mm"
set page width to "100 mm"
set left margin to "10 mm"
end tell
end tell

tell application "QuarkXPress 4.11"
make document at end
tell document 1
set view scale to fit page in window
set avar to left margin
end tell
display dialog avar
close document 1 saving no
end tell
