Hello all!

Regarding the issue I had earlier on, where the "choose application" list displayed corrupted or wrong data, is not no longer an issue.
To fix this, I deleted these files using the terminal...

sudo rm /Library/Caches/com.apple.LaunchServices.LocalCache.csstore
rm ~/Library/Caches/com.apple.LaunchServices.UserCache.csstore

I then restarted and now the list is no longer corrupt and it now has a correct list of applications I have on this computer.
