iMovie scripting - What's going on? + Targeting a button with no title or name

Hi,

I was just wondering if anyone had ever had any success with AppleScript and iMovie?

First Attempt - Looking at the iMovie AS Dictionary:

Quite the most bizarre Dictionary I have ever seen. Here it is in all its glory:

DoCommand:
DoCommand string

What can I pass here? any of the strings I try fail with the error "iMovie got an error: "x" doesn't understand the DoCommand message." (where x is the string I passed)

Second Attempt - GUI Scripting:

Most of the buttons in the iMovie UI have sensible titles and names - so they can be got at easily - but the camera controls (play/stop/etc..) and the control that switches between Import and Edit modes have neither titles nor names.

How do I get at these UI Elements if they don't have names?

Thanks

Diggory Laycock
