I went to X.
But try this trick; get
the property IP adress of TCPIPv4 configuration, if it's "0.0.0.0":
you're not connected, otherwise yes
I have not tried this trick and don't know how to script it but it might be
worth a try.

I recall the reliablity of the OSAX expired at about 10 hours. Can't tell

and you will find several excruciating attempts to do what you are trying.
