I think the confusion is that SYSTEM EVENTS is 1.2, but the SCRIPT EDITOR is
2.0 beta
Since Script Editor 2.0 beta is required to use (or at least, was released
in conjunction with) System Events 1.2, people are confusing the version
numbers.
Shame on Apple :)
