The first time launch alert routine is almost entirely inadequate for
protection against this vulnerability. As pointed out already, the alert
only occurs the first time the application in question is opened. If you've
already launched Terminal for whatever reason, a sinister jpeg impostor can
successfully trigger its launch it at any time without your being able to
prevent it.
