iCal scripting

Hi list,

I am scripting iCal for the first time.

My problem:

1) I have an event in iCal that will trigger an applescript application.

2) I need to have my applescript application to retrieve the properties from the iCal event ( the one that triggered the app), in order to do some text manipulation in the content of an email, sent to a list of recipients.

Question:

How do I retrive the properties from the iCal event that triggered my app?
