Internet Connect problem

  • Thread-topic: Internet Connect problem

I'm trying to write a simple script for Internet Connect and I'm getting
nothing but errors.

We have our users import a ".internetconnect" preset to allow them to get on
the network. The configuration is saved under the "802.1X" tab in Internet
Connect.

I searched the archives, checked the dictionary and Googled and came up with
what seemed a simple enough script

Tell application "Internet Connect"
Connect IEEE8021X configuration "Cavalier"
End tell

This gets me an NSReceiverEvaluationScriptError: 4" response.

I tried this to get the name of the current (and only configuration)

Tell application "Internet Connect"
Get the name of every IEEE8021X configuration
End tell

This returns "802.1X". It seems like Internet Connect doesn't know the name
of the configuration file. Either that or I'm not asking correctly.

Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong or steer me to some
scripts/resources about Internet Connect? Seems like this should be a
simple thing to script.

Thanks!
