XML Suite in System Events

Anyone know where some good documentation is for this?? I have used
the Property List suite before but the concept for XML seems to be
different. When you "get value of the contents of property list file
someplistfile" you get a record of all the keys and values in the
plist file. When you try similar syntax using the XML suite it plain
doesn't work.

Any takers?
