If you're running OS X 10.4.x, for amusement you might hover over "proselytize" and press Control-Command-D. Using the default New Oxford American Dictionary, I get as a second meaning "advocate or promote (a belief or course of action)."


I'm not sure the unmistakable open-palmed insult is less objectionable than the ambiguous back-handed insult.

Discount my peanut-gallery observations as you see fit, of course.
