Doug, surely that has more to do with the willingness of people to
learn AppleScript rather than the intricacies of the language itself?
If jj (or you or I) create scripts for our employers that save them
huge amounts of time/money, then that is probably a better measure of
how much it's worth, rather than how "easy" it was for us to create
those scripts. Top executives earn bucketloads precisely because they
do their thing easily. Well, hopefully anyway :-)
