What is this? This seems to be a Bluetooth 1.1 device:

A D-Link DBT-120 USB adapter has Bluetooth 1.2 (AFH) after applied
Apple
firmware updater.
Sorry, but has your Cellink Bluetooth 2.0+EDR really? Is it printed
on the
stick as on the pictures or is that a fake? It should be Bluetooth
2.0:

etails=Yes&ProductID=2501
I've got the black one as on the picture of : http://
www.cellink.com.tw/pro-bta-6030.htm
On the box and on the dongle, i've got a BTA-6030 and Bluetooth
version 2.0+EDR writing.
I don't try on PC : i don't have one and i 'll try this week end on
an iMac G4/17" with USB2 ports ; my iBook has only USB 1 ports.
But USB 2 or USB 1, is it important ? The Cellink dongle isn't USB 1
compliant ?
Have you tried to start the pairing from phone?
i'll try this
Bluetooth 2.0 makes nothing better for your Sony Ericsson T630
Bluetooth 1.1
mobile phone. Only with another computer, you would see benefits
and even
than I would recommend to use an Ethernet cable or at least AirPort.
The signal isn't be better ? and safer ?
What was wrong with the D-Link? Are you a developer or an end
consumer? For
end consumer queries please visit although the question is answered:
http://discussions.info.apple.com/Bluetooth/Other Devices/
For the moment end consumer...
Thanks for your help.
Have a nice day.
