There is no PB installed with the Xcode installer (AFAIK). If you
upgraded from Jaguar to Panther (not using a clean install), you're old
copy of PB will probably still be around.
Not doing a clean install of Panther, and not running the uninstall
script before installing the Xcode package, is asking for trouble - if
you ask me.

I didn't say that you couldn't work with PB in Panther, I said that it
was unsupported - and that is a fact.
