Can't instantiate

Hi All

Is there a reason why I can't Instantiate all classes in IB?

I want to create a couple of different views and add them to my window as needed. I would like to create a splitView and a scrollview for example and add them with their subviews.

Is there another more proper way to deal with this problem?
