Can libtool merge dylibs?

I have 18 dynamic libraries that I would like to merge into on lib. Can I do this? libtool doesn't seem to want to use dylibs as input. My intention is to merge them to make it easier to create a framework. I don't have the source to the libs, only the dylibs and I hope to avoid creating 18 frameworks in an umbrella framework, even though I have 18 dylibs.
Any ways to merge dylibs?
